Wow, a great week for my writing. I submitted my “finished” novel to a competition on Monday and I’m ploughing through my second one. I’m not allowed to start anything new until I finish the second one. I read a blog written by a wonderful short story writer that advised to ‘always finish everything.’ He said that this was the best advice that he had received in his 20 year career.

In an ideal world I would have a separate website for my writing but since I don’t I thought I’d used a page on this website. It’s fewer passwords to remember too!

Every morning I work on my current WIP. At the moment I’m on The Curse, which I started many years ago and had the fortune to read an extract of to a large audience at the Granite Noir festival.
