Our Bases
All of our gelato is made without dairy — but never without richness.
Our favourite base so far is coconut, chosen for its flavour, texture and natural creaminess. It pairs well with bold ingredients like mango, raspberry, and mint chocolate, merging rather than overpowering them.
Where coconut is too strong for flavours like vanilla, we’re experimenting with organic soya and oat milks. Our hope was not to use plant-based milks, but in this R&D phase, it is proving impossible. Where we do use plant-based milks, we do opt for those that include minimal ingredients.
For other flavours – like chocolate or hazelnut coffee we use a nut base, making our own nut milk to create a luxurious and silky-smooth finish.
Everything we make is 100% plant-based, dairy-free, and handcrafted in small batches right here at the mouth of the River Spey.
Each recipe has undergone countless hours of R&D (and a lot of tummy-expanding taste-testing) to achieve the perfect flavour and texture — not to match dairy gelato, but to create something different and better.
Our Flavours
Chocolate Hazelnut
Creamy, cocoa-rich gelato blended with roasted hazelnuts for the ultimate nutty scoop. A crowd favourite with a soft praline edge.
Mint Choc Chip
Fresh mint flavour with dark chocolate shards and a coconut base. Cool, clean, and just the right amount of crunchy.
Strawberry Burst
Made with real strawberries and no shortcuts. A coconut base gives a sweet, tangy, and pink in the best way.
Chocolate Intense
Deep cocoa with melted chocolate folded through. Bold, dark, and made for serious chocolate lovers.
Mango & Passionfruit
Tropical sunshine in a scoop. Bright mango with a hit of tart passionfruit finished on a vanilla base.
Raspberry Ripple
Swirls of tangy raspberry coulis through creamy coconut gelato. A twist on the classic — totally dairy-free.
